Questions About the Care Journey

Is Physiawy currently operational?

Not yet. Physiawy is in a controlled market-testing and pilot-preparation stage. Current forms register interest; they do not book care.

Is submitting the form a confirmed booking?

No. It is a pilot-interest request. The team will review general need, area, and capacity before any future service arrangement is discussed.

What are the professional physiotherapy grades used by Physiawy?

Physiawy distinguishes between Physiotherapy Practitioners, Physiotherapy Specialists, and Physiotherapy Consultants. Professional grade must be verified through appropriate documentation before activation.

Does every patient receive sessions from a Practitioner?

No. A Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant may assess and deliver all treatment sessions directly. The appropriate pathway depends on the patient’s needs, professional competencies, availability, and clinical judgment.

Who creates the treatment plan?

The treatment plan is developed or approved by the responsible Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant. A Practitioner follows the approved plan within the assigned role and supervision arrangement.

Who decides whether treatment continues?

The responsible Specialist or Consultant reviews progress and approves continuation, modification, reassessment, escalation, transition to self-management, or discharge.

Why are progress reviews important?

Reviews test whether goals are being met and whether the programme should continue, change, escalate, transition to self-management, or end.

Can I request a male or female physiotherapist?

You can state a preference. Matching will consider it, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Can I arrange care for a family member?

Yes. The interest form explicitly allows a family member or caregiver to register a general request, with the patient’s consent where required.

Will the same physiotherapist attend every session?

Physiawy aims for continuity whenever clinically and operationally suitable, but it cannot guarantee the same person for every session.

What happens if the physiotherapist cancels?

The planned model includes coordination and replacement support. Exact pilot procedures will be confirmed before service starts.

What happens if the patient is not improving?

Documentation and milestone reviews help identify concerns. The plan may be modified, reassessed, escalated, or referred for medical review as appropriate.

Can a physician receive progress information?

Relevant updates may be shared only where appropriate, authorized by the patient, and permitted by applicable requirements.

Which locations are covered?

The proposed initial areas are New Cairo, El Rehab, and Madinaty. Coverage remains subject to professional availability, patient suitability, and pilot capacity. Other areas can join the expansion list.

Will insurance be accepted?

No insurance arrangements are confirmed. Any future arrangement will be announced only after it is finalized.

How will prices be determined?

Pilot pricing and provider compensation are still being tested. Any offer will be explained transparently before a patient or professional accepts it.

Is Physiawy suitable for emergencies?

No. Chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, sudden weakness, loss of consciousness, severe trauma, or other urgent symptoms need immediate emergency or hospital care.

How is patient information protected?

Public forms request only minimum contact and market-testing information. Do not upload or enter reports, imaging, prescriptions, national ID, payment details, or a detailed medical history.

Questions About Professional Participation

Is joining Physiawy employment?

Not necessarily. The final legal and contractual operating model is still being developed. Registration is only an expression of interest.

Are cases guaranteed?

No. Approval, referrals, patient volume, and income are not guaranteed and depend on verification, demand, geography, capacity, and service quality.

How will credentials and professional grade be checked?

Applicants may be asked through a secure process to provide identity, qualification, licence, Syndicate registration, professional-grade, experience, and competency evidence. The selected grade remains unverified until supporting documents are reviewed.

Can a Physiotherapy Practitioner work independently through Physiawy?

No. A Practitioner-delivered pathway requires an assigned and appropriately verified Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant who accepts responsibility for assessment, treatment planning, supervision, review, and clinical decisions.

How will supervisors be selected?

Physiawy plans to match supervisory responsibilities according to verified professional grade, relevant competencies, case needs, location, workload, and formal acceptance of responsibility.

Can a Specialist or Consultant supervise every case remotely?

The appropriate form and frequency of supervision depend on the patient, treatment pathway, clinical risk, applicable professional requirements, and the responsible professional’s judgment. Physiawy will not present one supervision method as suitable for every case.

Can physiotherapists choose areas and times?

The planned workflow allows professionals to state service areas and availability, which are considered during matching.

Can a professional decline a case?

The planned model allows professionals to review suitable opportunities and accept or decline before a case is assigned.

How will compensation work?

Transparent session, assessment, and review terms are planned before acceptance. The commercial model is not yet active or final.

What documentation will be required?

The planned session record includes attendance, interventions, response, goal progress, concerns, barriers, and next steps.

What may a Physiotherapy Practitioner do?

A verified Practitioner may deliver approved sessions under active supervision, work within assigned competencies, document every session, report progress, and escalate concerns. A Practitioner is not presented as an independent case owner.

What may a Specialist or Consultant do?

After formal case acceptance, a verified Specialist or Consultant may assess, approve the treatment plan, deliver treatment directly, supervise Practitioners, review documentation, reassess progress, and make the next clinical decision within the accepted role.

Who is clinically responsible for each case?

A Specialist or Consultant becomes responsible only after formally accepting the pathway through the approved clinical and contractual process. Responsibilities remain subject to verified grade, competencies, assigned scope, and applicable Egyptian requirements.

How are complaints handled?

A documented complaints, incident-review, reassessment, and professional-performance process is planned for the pilot.

Can physicians refer without receiving commission?

Yes. Physiawy intends to develop physician relationships through service quality and communication, not paid referral incentives.

When will organization partnerships begin?

Organization submissions register future interest only. No current hospital, insurer, or institutional contracts are claimed.
