Physiawy is being designed around Egypt’s professional physiotherapy structure. Every patient pathway is connected to an appropriately licensed Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant responsible for assessment, treatment planning, progress review, and clinical decisions. Sessions may be delivered directly by that professional or by a licensed Physiotherapy Practitioner working under documented supervision.

Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant
A licensed Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant assesses the patient where appropriate, determines whether home physiotherapy is suitable, establishes rehabilitation goals, approves the treatment plan, defines the required level of supervision, and reviews progress.
Physiotherapy Practitioner
A licensed Physiotherapy Practitioner may deliver the approved home sessions under the supervision of the assigned Specialist or Consultant. The Practitioner follows the treatment plan, documents every session, and reports progress, barriers, or concerns.
Direct care
Where appropriate, the assigned Specialist or Consultant may conduct both the assessment and the ongoing treatment sessions directly. A Practitioner is not required in every patient pathway.
The appropriate pathway depends on the patient’s needs, the professional’s verified licence grade and competencies, clinical judgment, and the applicable professional requirements.

An eligible Physiotherapy Specialist or Consultant accepts responsibility, confirms the assessment arrangement, and defines the required supervision level.
The responsible Specialist or Consultant assesses the patient, confirms home-care suitability, establishes goals, approves the treatment plan, and defines review points.
Sessions are delivered directly by the Specialist or Consultant, or by a verified Physiotherapy Practitioner working under active supervision.
Every session records attendance, treatment, response, progress, concerns, barriers, escalation needs, and the next step. Practitioner records remain available to the assigned supervisor.
